It has been a long time coming! Our old site was looking a bit – shall we say, haggered? The old site was built on wordpress theme that was like putting a square peg into a round hole. It just would not do the things I needed it to do and the result was a chopping, kind of hastily put together site. Because of work for other clients (and much higher quality work then what we had on line) it fell into disrepair. Since September, this new site has been in development. It took a lot of people to lift it into being. First one being Jennifer and Monique at Design Happy here in So Cal. I have been working with them for over a year on other projects and finally, they helped me re-brand Soul Surf Media. Additional muscle came from Susan Poma of SMPS Marketing – she and I talk for a while about Soul Surf’s future and what we were going to be when we grew up. She gave me some really amazing ideas and helped with the re-branding efforts that we are still in the process of.

Secondly, the other major events coming with this site is the announcement of some new services. Beyond video, Soul Surf is leveraged through our friends and associates to offer clients full service marketing services – from PR, Web Development, Commercial Video Production, Social Media Consulting for Action Sports and Print/Layout services. Members of our team have been creative directors for major ad firms and Fortune 500 companies. We grew up in 2009 and have attracted an amazing array of talented people who are all into accomplishing the same thing I strive to do -provide clients with cost effective, high quality services with an attention to detail and service. We do this by listening to what you need, identifying your brand’s character, developing that into a visual medium and launching it into the public domain. When you succeed we succeed. We are mutually interested in your success.

2010 is going to be an amazing year for us – The Stand Up Project has launched, we just released Jack Gillen’s Wave Chi DVD, and we are in production on a DVD for legendary Stand Up Paddler, Niki Gregg. In addition, we are in the midst of planning a major expedition and documentary film. Stay tuned to this site for details and as new trailers come up, we will be posting them in our samples page. That page is still in development, right now I placed some videos there to show case some of our work of the past few years. But soon that will be a true video lounge! It will be VERY cool!
