It is not really going to happen often where I get political on this site – but having seen first hand the effects of plastic bags in the ocean, I cannot help to contain my anger and frustration with the California State Senate’s decision to strike down ground breaking legislation that would have banned the use of plastic bags in the state. The following California State Senators have violated the trust of us all by being more concerned with their re-election campaign funds – then the fate of our oceans. I urge everyone in California to seek out these state senators , voice your opinion and remind them that they represent us- not the special interests. I commit to do all I can to see to it that these individuals are not elected for another term:
